Knee problems resulting from injury are commonly diagnosed and treated utilizing arthroscopy. The “scope” as it is often referred to allows the surgeon to look inside through a small incision to determine the nature and extent of injuries. Through additional small incisions surgical instruments can be inserted for the necessary repairs. Depending on the extent of disease or injury to a knee, traditional surgery may be used to repair and install fixation devices.
