Our hand surgeon completed specialty training at University of Alabama Hospital through a fellowship of hand surgery. Patients are provided surgical and non-surgical treatment of conditions and problems that occur from the tip of the finger to the elbow. The Orthopaedic Clinic provides immediate care of injuries, treatment and reconstruction of old injuries, birth defects, nerve compression syndromes such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and damaged or inflamed tendons. In addition our hand surgeon is experienced in the latest surgeries to repair nerves, tendons, joint, and bone damage resulting from injury or disease. An example is endoscopic Carpal Tunnel surgery, which is less invasive and less traumatic than traditional surgery. With less post-surgery trauma for the patient, recovery time is usually shortened significantly.
