EDUCATION: Dr. Adams received his undergraduate degree from Samford University and his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine.

ADDITIONAL TRAINING: Completed internship and residency in internal medicine at Wilford Hall United States Air Force Medical Center at Lackland AFB, San Antonio Texas. He also completed a four-year fellowship in Rheumatology/Immunology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine, Birmingham, Alabama.

PERSONAL: Dr. Adams and his wife Sara are the parents of two sons and one daughter. They reside in Auburn.
