EDUCATION: Dr. Hillyer graduated from Auburn University and received his medical degree from the University of Alabama Medical School.

ADDITIONAL TRAINING: Completed fellowship training in hand surgery at UAB. Completed internship at Carraway Methodist Medical Center and orthopedic  residency at the University of Alabama School of Medicine, Birmingham, Alabama.

PERSONAL: Dr. Hillyer and his wife reside in Opelika and have three children. In his spare time he pursues his interests and fascination with computers and techno-products.
