Bone Health has become an important topic in orthopedics over the past several years. Osteoporosis (or "soft bones") is silent disease that can significantly impact one's quality of life and function. Soft bones are more likely to break and one fracture increases one's risk for future fractures. In an effort to proactively treat these types of breaks, The Orthopaedic Clinic has established a Bone Health Clinic designed to test bone mineral density and blood mineral levels and offer treatment options based on these tests.
